Graham Unregistered guest | I am going to upgrade my system and redue all the stock speakers but I don't have a huge budget I already have 2 10' subs that pound but I want clear sounding speakers with good punch. What should I go with pioneer or sony? Also do you have a suggestion for tweeters I have a neon so I already have a spot to put them. Thanks |

Graham Unregistered guest | Around $300-500 Cnd. But I want to upgrade everything including my tweeters for that. Thanks for you help. |

With a budget like that, I'd recommend forgetting upgrading all the speakers and focus on upgrading to a set of front component speakers. Rear speakers aren't important. Can't remember what 500 canadian translates to in U.S., I think it's around $350-375, my recommendation is to go online and look at possible sites that offer shipping to Canada cheap. I'd recommend trying to find an Infinity Kappa Perfect component system (around $200 online U.S.), and a good amp that pushes around 100x2, possibly a JBL P180.2 amplifier, they're cheap right now b/c year models are being upgraded, $120 U.S. on www.sounddomain.com not sure if they ship to Canada, though. |

I also live in Canada and from what we have here I would go with Infinity over the other two you mentioned. Infinty makes very good speakers. |
