Hi My battery went flat and now the grundig radio cassette is in SAFE mode waiting for an unlock code which I dont have. It was a royal mail van. I bought it third hand.
If you can help at all Id really appreciate it:
W0L0XCF2533064060 = chassis
grundig car 2002 (e) unit= GM020231593103 No 24 462 948
Ive noticed 2 green stickers and a white one on the back of the unit when I removed the unit from my van.
Each of the 3 stickers has a 4 digit number with no zeros
The white sticker has the words "Controlo objectivo" and a 4 digit number
The 1st green sticker has the words "Outgoing" and a 4 digit number
and the 2nd green sticker has the words "Controlo subjectivo" and a 4 digit number
So if you put my serial or chassis into your system and it did throw out a 4 digit unlock code for this unit it would be interesting to see if it was one of the 4 digit numbers on the back of the unit itself?
Thanks again for any help!!
Perhaps I should ask in another place on the site for the following: Im wondering what other options I have regarding putting a new unit in to replace the one I have? All I want is a radio with more preset memories and an aux in so I can plug my mp3 player in without using an fm transmitter or a mini jack to false cassette tape device. I would have thought a radio unit with an stereo mini jack as an aux in would be pretty cheap?
