Another Blaupunkt 520 code needed. Just replaced battery in 2003 Astra. Tried what I thought might be the 4 digit code (scribbled in manual) but no luck. Now comes up as SAFE 9.
Removed radio unit and these are the numbers I can see:
Hi I have a Blaupunkt CC 20 radio and have tried to enter the code without sucess. It is a four digit code but only 3 digits show on the screen. Each time I try to enter the display changes to - - - before I have the second digit entered. I hold the number key then press the station up key ^. is this the right way to do it? What does the activating and deactivating the code action achieve? Please can you help with idiot proof instructions.
Boston CC20 Please note that code entry is only possible if the display shows "COD". If there are three lines showing "---" then leave the unit switched on for two hours to reset. Note that the first digit can only be a "Zero" or a "One" . If your first digit of your code is a "Zero" then the display will be blank for this digit. Thank you Hay88 for the instructions. My set must be the Boston model. Re the instructions, I'm pretty sure that is what I have been trying to do but can't see any display for the first digit. Do I just press preset 1 once to get the number 1 as the first digit of my code, should it then be displayed? (my code starts with 1)
Hello again Hay88, Have just had another try. Pressing preset 1 has no effect, COD stays on the screen. This is definitely a boston (written on the front) If I press preset 1 and the ^ button the display changes to 000. but any attempt to change the first digit to 1 results in the - - - display and another hour wait. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all, i have a Blaupunkt car radio that i didn't get the code with when i bought it. I've had some repairs done to the car where they've disconnected the battery and now my stereo won't work.
