Friday, February 11, 2011 - 05:24 GMT 0.8cuft per sub, ~37hz 'in-cabin' tuning. Kinda a goofy box to build. Quite a few panels have to be trimmed out w/ a router and flush-trim bit. Base of the box w/ 3" risers to clear the trans-hump. 2 extra boards temporarily mounted to allow for that area of the panel to be flush-trimmed off. Port walls in. Center divider and back wall on. Top on.

Friday, February 11, 2011 - 05:33 GMT Ports painted. View inside from the sub cutout. Box carpeted. Another view of completed box. No carpet seams on this one. Its glued and stretched, then stapled underneath. The subs are mounted on the side to help w/ loading and to keep people from kicking them in. They will be ~4" from the doors of the truck. Our DD shipment will be in tomorrow. Just gotta run some 12ga wire in to the box and mount up the subs.

Friday, February 11, 2011 - 05:38 GMT Love your box building skills Canaan. Reminds me of a local box builder here that me and Chad use to go to all the time. His boxes were just flawless.

Friday, February 11, 2011 - 06:18 GMT Yea, took quite abit longer than usual to build this box. It's the first one of these, Nick was there to help me get it going. I designed it last week, but getting the idea together of how to flush-trim the panels and make it fall in place took longer that simple square boxes. But, now that I've done it once...we can rebuild it quite a bit quicker.

Friday, February 11, 2011 - 18:11 GMT That is sickly complicated. I might bring my truck in for my next box seeing how you do things. Also, if I wanted you to do my big 3 in 1/0, how much you think that would run?
