I have been living in Okinawa, Japan for almost a year now and I have been meaning to put up some pictures of car audio stuff that you can get over here. Nothing very impressive, but it is kind of cool to see what they offer here compared to in the USA.
Some Alpine components I haven't seen before:
Carrozzeria(Pioneer) components. Must be their flagship model because they were the most expensive components in the store at about $725 USD:
Alpine powered subwoofer. My buddy from work actually bought one of these and it doesn't sound too bad considering how small it is. I think it has a 6 1/2" woofer. It is too expensive in my opinion, price is around $330 USD:
A much larger Alpine powered subwoofer. I think it has an 8" woofer and an 8" passive radiator. I think the price was around $550 USD:
A very expensive Carrozzeria(Pioneer) A/V headunit. About $3365 USD. It looked pretty nice, but too rich for my blood. Most of the headunits here are basically the same models as in the USA, but the controls are on the opposite side because of the whole right-hand-drive thing. If you notice, the volume knob is on the right side:
Some subwoofer for women I guess. I didn't check what brand it was:
And to top it off, some Hello Kitty motor oil:
I haven't personally bought anything from any of the stores here because it is so expensive, and the products don't interest me all that much. I have ordered everything online and waited for it to come in the mail instead. One of my cars does have a set of 6 1/2" Carrozzeria components that were already installed in it and they do sound pretty nice. I found the exact speakers at a different store here and they were about $350.
