Im looking for a 4 channel amp that will do 75-100 watts per channel at 2 ohms. Im looking at a Jl J2-320.4 for $115, and a JL A4300 for about the same. Im open to any suggestions, new or used. My budget goal is to keep it under $150, but if something really catches my attention, I might go up to 200 or maybe even a little more.
you might be surprised. I use 250W x 2 on my front stage.
You can typically go around 50% over the rated continuous power handling of the speakers, since you won't see the full output of the amplifier anyway, with a music source, to a reactive load, with the volume below maximum.
true. but you said all i would need is 50-75w per channel. That JL A4300 makes 75w/ch and its only $125 so I think im gunna go with that for now. I might upgrade this summer when moneys not so much an issue. That amp should be good right?
oh for real? I always thought infinity was one of the top brands. Well now ive found a JL G4500 for $175. so I think Im between this and the other JL amp now. unless you have any others to add
ohh haha well im glad you told me. Well I think im gunna go with the JL G4500. its newer, in a bit better condition, and puts out a little bit more power than the A4300.
