New member Username: Turbo91Post Number: 1 Registered: Nov-10 | hey, i want to wire in my amp, to run only a woofer, but the only input it has uses RCA jacks.. i have just discovered that my stock head unit does not have RCA output.. i've noticed MANY questions about this but so many sometimes contradicting answers haha. so can i simply 'tap' into my head unit speaker wire and slot in a RCA plug? and have the speaker wire i tapped into still run to it's speaker? or is that too much load on that channel? will this work or is the 'level' of the output wrong for my amp? i'd want to get it right and not blow anything (preferable). cheers |

These will work fine unless you have a system (stock) with amplified speakers, like a BOSE system, then you require a special adapter. |

You can do this using a digital multimeter. http://www.glasswolf.net/papers/dmmgain.html |
