So, one of my return customers called up and said needed to bring one of his vehicle by for me to fix the horrible install that another place did in it. (he bought the vehicle used).

He tried to explain what was wrong, but it was hard to understand just what he was saying. So I told him to bring it by for me to take a quick look at and we would go from there.

About 30mins ago, he rolled up in a ~'05-06 stretch Hummer.
The install is HORRIBLE.

And I can't make the turn to fit it in the bay.
Gotta work in the heat Wednesday.

Upload

It was only 97deg today, and the vehicle couldn't make the turn around the fence to get in the new bay w/ A/C
I just rolled around in that thing all day w/ a fan in the door.

Actually, it already had an install done but it was horrible. I ripped it all out and redid it. Also I put a double din in the back were the old single din used to be. Just had to do a little trim work.

The way everything was run in the vehicle and the time it took to sort out just how the hell everything was wired up took for ever though. It was like the vehicle had 5 uninstalled systems in it and all the old wiring was left in. No wiring code to speak of.

If we're talking about American trucks I'd probably say Dodge > Ford > Chevy. But that's just my opinion
