dual 2 or dual 4 ohm subs, whats your final ohm load right now? what type of box are they in.
And to think I wondered why I stopped coming here...lol
This guy spent some hard earned cash on subs because he liked the sound, I see being properly informed about products a good thing but not asnwering questions and bashing the dude....not everyone likes the same things, this that applies to music, or else I assume all the sheep in this heard have all tasted the same C()ck.
Kicker makes fine amps but as you can tell some people do not like their subs. They sometimes rip/tear around the corners thought not ONCE have I seen any issues first hand.
Just make sure you build a good box and they will be just fine as the box can make the worst subs stand out, prefab boxes are NOT your friend.
My statment was generalized and not really pointing anyone out ;)
But seriously, I've been here less in the past 3 years than the first 10 months of joining up five years ago. The sad thing is there are some decent forums but only 100 members and that takes a tool on how often you go back as new content is slim.
Ecoustics is still super busy (I don't post as much as I lurk anymore) but it's a mouse on a wheel as it never really goes anywhere.
I agree completely. Not everyone can own/afford the best out there and many have less funds to find out. The purpose of any forum is to enlighten and educate. IMO you learn through your mistakes and sometimes they are best learned the hard way. Kicker's L5 has been tagged the worst in many arenas but bottom line it's still a sub.
It's kinda like being a motorcyclist. If you ride you know what I'm talking about. When you pass a fellow rider on the road you give a respectful wave, regardless of their bike. The guy on the $25,000 Goldwing will still respect the dude on the beat up 250cc Rebel. Why? Because they respect the sport, not just the bike they ride.
Except Harley riders. They keep to their own code, which has been known to be a bit twisted lol.
This poor guy haha. But seriously though, we'll need to know what ohm load you'll be running at so we can suggest the proper amp. Let us know what DVC configuration those subs are.
