DeLorean New member Username: Delorean United Kingdom Post Number: 1 Registered: Jan-10	Posted on Saturday, January 23, 2010 - 14:02 GMT I may as well come clean straight away I was fiddling with my car stereo in my 2001 Renault Laguna II Estate and pressed the 2 & 5 buttons whilst switching on the radio. After 2 minutes of beeping over the audio it came up asking for the radio code. I popped in the code 6292 (as printed inside the cover of the log book) but it wouldn't accept it So I switched off the stereo, hoping it may go away. But surprise, surprise it didn't Now every time I switch the stereo on I get 2 minutes of beeping over the audio, then it goes silent and asks for the code again (which doesn't work). I also disconnected the car battery for half an hour, but this didn't help (not surprisingly). Any assistance to help me find the correct code would be greatly appreciated Many thanks

In my case T750 which gives me the code 6292 which is the same code as printed in the logbook. Does anyone know how to get the stereo out of country selection mode as it must require a different code to the usual unlock code? Many thanks

I was being a complete plank After inputting the code I should have been holding down the number 6 button. But being as blind as a bat I read it as the number 5 in the user manual. At least I now know how to calculate the unlock codes for these stereos now

Press the [ ] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct first digit Press the [ ] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct second digit Press the [ ] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct third digit Press the [ ] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct fourth digit If the correct code is now shown on screen, press and hold the [ ] button for up to 10 seconds to store the code FOR NO STEERING CONTROL press the first preset button for the 1st digit, second button for the 2nd digit third button for 3rd digit forth button for 4th digit then press buttons 6 OR 5 to store.
