I ordered an american bass dx, but its on backorder. I am doing a budget 15" setup in a third car. They have the refurb d3's on ebay for around a hundred, wondering if I should go with the diamond or stick with the ab. Anyone have an opinion. I used to run a 10" diamond d6 in my porsche boxster and I really liked it. I am kind of leaning towards the diamond.
Yeah, I agree. talking to you in the other thread I started also. lol since we were on the subject. I was looking at a dcon 15 also. I think i'm going to go with the diamond though. 109 shipped on ebay. Don't think I can go wrong.
i see alot of people selling them for used for very cheap on ebay lately, saw 2 diamond d6 12s go for like 200 shipped in the ported box, and many other great deals as well.
The fact that Von Shweikert chose a Diamond 10" out of all other drivers for their highly acclaimed $1,495 VRS/1 Subwoofer should tell you a bit about Diamond.
It's a rebadged Von Shweikert amp, a little higher quality than the PE amps, but that's the thing... If you break down the costs of each component you will see the "engineering" markup that they charge. And we all know that most engineers are psychotic dicks anyways.
