Did a little work on the van today. Boxing in the back to clean it up. Got all the bus-bars cut and drilled for the 15 batt bank also. More pics later this week.
That is our shop DDemo van here at Desiard St. Pawn & Car Audio. Last season it was 10 DD2515 4th order wall w/ 1 DD Z2hv. It did 161.6 (161.9 in testing) w/ 7 Kinetik hc16hv batts w/ the amp at 0.2ohm dcr. 158dB++ for demo @ 0.8ohm dcr. Flat with in 1dB from 40hz to 80hz.
We (me, cory, and nickv) are working on in after work getting it ready all this week for Scrapin' the Coast in Biloxi (June 24-27). Going to 2 DD Z2hv strapped at 0.8ohm dcr (0.4ohm dcr per amp) and 16 Kinetik hc16v. I will post results as soon as we get the 2nd amp. Its on the way from Sweden.
Marshall and Nick are talented guys -- I never doubt anything they come up with. I remember back when Nick was just a pup, maybe 16?, and I was having him do things on Photoshop that people 10+ years older could only dream about. Kid has skills, and Marshall is as good as anyone here at installs and first hand knowledge of gear.
