I see that in your fourth picture you actually "cut-out" the hole for the port, then placed the whole front baffle on. There is no need to cut out the hole and it seems that would take some extra time to do. If your just changed how the individual panels fit together, it would have been alot easier. I can do a picture up for you if you would like.
actually no lol...port would have fit fine along the back wall...just wanted to switch it up a bit.
yes that is a dvc 2 ohm kicker cvr 05' model
the front baffle is like that simply because i didnt want screws going IN towards the sub (yes it took a lot more time to do and isn't quite perfect yet)....the port is 42.7 inches long, 26.25in^2 port area....final tuning should be right around 30.52 hz...depends on the volume the sub takes up (i assumed .05 cubes) ...and precision of cuts, which were VERY good this time...none of the cuts were more than 1/16 off. i still have sanding and carpet to do.
i wish i knew exactly what a sub sounds like when its being damaged because when blasted it doesn't sound quite right to me...gain set with dmm...300 watts 4 ohm load >> 34.6 volts
