Im using a panasonic Cq-DF200u head unit and im running 2 rockford punch 4's and punch 6x9's off of the 4 channels the head unit has. Now i had the preconception that i was running them at 45w per channel, BUT, i just recently found out that the RMS on the unit is 23w per channel. Can i over clock this? Or am i suck running them at 23w???
rms means that it can run at that and not overheat. the max means that that is it's max. your head probably does hit 45 watts per chanell but it will overheat. your not just runing 23 watts all the time.
