looking for best quality speakers that will fit this car. However it is my understanding that I only have 2.8 inches of depth or it will hit the glass window inside the door. Any suggestions?
You should have plenty of clearance for speakers. If for some reason it does hit the glass, you could get some rubber grommets and use them as a washer under the screws that hold the speaker in. This will give you some added depth. If you wanted the best quality, go with a set of components powered by a 2 channel amp. If doing all four, then a 4 channel amp.
