Hi everyone, i just finished installing two 10" subwoofers to a planet audio amplifier last weekend. However i'm still fine tuning the filter settings on the amplifier. Does anyone have a set ups that worked well for them with their subwoofers. Low pass, Sub sonic pass, Phase (0 or 180 didn't know what this was) Bass boost (+18 db) ect.

subsonic is set to the tuned port frequency of the box if its ported, or turned completely down or off for sealed boxes.
bass boost zero
Q or slope if available set to 18 or 24dB

I would set them as follows:
LPF - depends on your speakers but 50 - 60Hz is about normal.
Sub phase - depends on your installation so try both, after some listening it becomes obvious (most of the times) which one is better.
Subsonic filter - at 20 Hz or so, playing subsonic frequencies can introduce distortion, waste energy and may damage some systems.
Bass boost - Start at minimum going up until you get clean solid bass.
Crossover slopes: If the frequency response of your sub & your other speakers overlap heavily this setting may be better off at 24dB.
