What I am wondering is what amp should i use to power this? and the power ratings. Should I use a monoblock amp that runs around 400rms at 2 ohms? or something cheaper like this amp: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NAXA+-+500W+Class+AB+Bridgeable+2-Channel+Amplifier+ with+Variable+Crossovers/9768431.p?id=1218170029445&skuId=9768431 also is it possible to bridge a 2 channel amp at 2 ohms mono? I am on a tight budget right now and just want to know what would be best for the money, I am open for any other suggestions that you may have also..thank you in advanced. |

Also a 2 channel amp when bridged to one channel can not run below a 4 ohm load, period. Your best bet is to find a mono block amp that will push the rms you need at 2 ohm. |

It says it will run at 500rms @ 2 ohms heres a link: http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=PLA1800 Pyle Car Audio PLA1800 "Power Series" Mono Block Car Amplifier 2400 Watts Max Details: ***RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 1 x 300W ***RMS Power @ 2 Ohms: 1 x 500W ***RMS Power @ 1.3 Ohms: 1 x 700W ***Maximum Power Output 2400W Mono. I have not looked into this site yet about purchasing, do you guys know any good trust worthy sites that have discounted car audio? thanks again for your help |
