Saturday, March 27, 2010 - 18:34 GMT Just got back from vacation and eager to start this build. Will be for Sean P and his DD 1515. Going to have black carpet with red port, red inside, and red outer ring that will go around the plexi. Should be fun. Here are the designs. I will have pictures up later tonight of some of the progress.

Saturday, March 27, 2010 - 21:14 GMT you could make that entire panel where the window is from clear lexan @ 1.00" thick, and it would look rally nice, too. Clear or tinted lexan. If you go with clear, you can mirror the inside of the enclosure, and light it with red cathode tubes. That'd look neat. That also gives you the option of using an engraving tool to put something like the DD emblem into the lexan, so it catches the red back lighting where it's etched.

Sunday, March 28, 2010 - 00:46 GMT Thanks fellas. It got too dark to take pics so I will take some tomorrow. And Glass, I have a local distributor who gets me super prices on acrylic plexi clear or tinted. So I prefer to use Plexi. Engraving costs alot locally from the prices I have gotten from distributors. If Sean is wanting to do the mirrors and red lights he can let me know I'm sure he will see this thread soon. Regardless it's going to be a fun and nice looking enclosure in the end.
