so the sundown SAE-1200Dv2 says 1200x1 at 1 ohm but also says capable of 1500+watts real world at 12.8 volts so I'm wondering if this amp is .5 ohm stable and if it's actually capable of 1500+watts rms
I'm looking at the lanzar optidrive2000 cuz it says it does 2000 rms at .5 ohms and Ive heard it's actually rated correctly, and also the alpine mrp2000 and I can get both brand new for under 430 and the sundown SAE-1200Dv2
the sae-1200 v2 is capable of 1500 rms at 1 ohm. did close to 1800 at .5 ohm in testing but its fuses blew so i wouldnt recommend running it at .5 ohm. but ik for a fact the saz line of sundown amps are all .5 ohm stable or better. the saz-1000 puts out 1000-1100 at 1 ohm so im sure it'd be close to 1500 rms at .5 ohm.
