I have a 98 passat 1.8L Turbo with a 90v alternator, I just purchased my kicker zx1000.1 and i was just wondering what is the highest RMS i can run daily without blowing my alternator out?

You should be ok running a 1k amp on a 90 amp alt. You may want to consider upgrading your alternator wires (big 3). This will help with voltage drops and get the most out of your alt. Just be sure to set the gain correctly on the amp.

Idk,1000wrms may be alittle to much for that alt. I also had a 90amp alt an it was having a hard time with 800wrms. I would do what shawn suggested, and upgrade your wiring(big 3). Good luck
