I have an Mercedes radio from a 190E I bought the radio on ebay to replace my non-working MB Alpine radio. I belive that the radio is an Alpine and the Serial number from the radio is AL2191C0235890. I believe that AL tells me that it is an Alpine made for Mercedes model CM2191 and the serial number is C0235890? Thanks.

The radio in my Rover 218 (1997) was locked when i bought it, and i wasn't given a code to unlock it Could anyone help me out with a code please?? i've attached all the details etc below

Battery on my 1996 Mercedez SL320 died today and I had to have it replaced. The radio asked for a code and when I guessed, it reponded with "wait". That has been there all day now.

The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
