I just recently picked up 2 x 10" type R's, and an MRP-M2000 amp to run them. I'm going to be picking up 2 more type R's and 2 sets of type X component speakers along with a 4.150 Alpine amp most likely. There is also a 5 farad cap if that makes a difference. Now I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to the installs, so I'm not entirely sure of what I should be doing. Does the battery need to be upgraded? Or is this something that has more to do with the alternator? I haven't done the Big 3 upgrade yet, and I'm not sure if this something I should be doing. Also, this is in an 09 G8 before anyone asks.
