Thursday, February 18, 2010 - 15:17 GMT Power = Voltage(output)^2/Resistance So if your amp were a 4 channel and its rated @ 50w per channel at 4ohms 50=(?)^2/4 200=(?)^2 sqrt(200)=? ?=14.14v therefore you increase your gain until your output at each channel is 14.1v, if you were to measure it bridged, your bridged output should be 28.2v

Thursday, February 18, 2010 - 15:44 GMT however the best way to find out gain outputs is to get it directly for the manufacturer, the formula is a way of getting a rough estimate its never 100% accurate due to different amp constructions
