It hit 10 times harder than the 2 Pioneer subs that I had before this setup. I have never heard the Earthquake models personally so I cannot give my opinion on those. But I can vouch for the Alpines. They are deafening good. And I am getting another one next week along with a new amp, Kenwood KAC-9104D. |

New member Username: Callandor2kPost Number: 4 Registered: May-05 | I didn't do anything to the amp. I had it for 4 and a half years before it blew. A few weeks ago it started blowing fuses as soon as I turned on the radio. I put in a little larger fuse and then it let out the magic blue smoke. And to be honest I really have not decided on what amp to replace it with. The Kenwood KAC-9104D is the top candidate so far unless you got an opinion on what will drive 2 of these DVC Alpine subs that won't break the bank. And your answer will help john and I build our system better. |
