JL Audio specs say the sub will handle 500 watts RMS but the "warranty void" section starts promptly after 500 watts. Being around amps for awhile I know most amps (especially JL Audio) will produce over what they advertise...I'm just wondering if this combo is advisable or if I would just be better off with say the 250/1? The slash series amps are pretty impressive. I have one on a 12 w7, only powering it to half its ability and it produces plenty of sound for my listening needs. I'd say go with the 500/1. |
