HU trouble (JVC KDAR880)

I have the JVC kdar880 Headunit and it has been working fine for a couple years until recently. The only problem seems to be with the usb port on the front of the HU. It does not recognize my flash drives or my ipod(but it does still charge it). Broken? Thanks Kevin
