Also the 16-MCA300 model is a 150w x 2 @ 4 ohms. You'd need an additional amp for your sub this way. Also look on Ebay or in the classifieds for old school PG (MS series), PPI (art series), Xtant (has 3 channels amps too), US Amps, Zapco, even the really old Rockford Fosgates had good SQ and were severely underrated. If you can find it for around $200 (doubtful), get a Tru Technology amp. They virtually are uncolored, they add nor take anything from the music...simply put, they are pure. |

Making it a total of 3 channels? Or are 4-Ch designed in a way that you can either do 2 or 4 channel, but not a combination or 3? |

I steer clear of the Kicker amp and look at something a little more sturdy and SQ oriented. BTW, your link is dead as that auction ended... Here's a link to a list to give you a good idea of what brands and some models to look for... https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/products/articles/329117.html The list hasn't been updated since 2007, but it still holds true for what is there. There are some newer brands that are missing. Make sure you read the whole thing, not just the general category... Cheers! |
