Saturday, December 19, 2009 - 20:05 GMT Now that I have your attention. Had a customer that wanted 2-10's in his '07 Tacoma 4dr. I went out to see the 'box' the previous owner built...lol They must have used 7 or 8 tubes of black silicone. I was really surprised at how well it was in there, lol. Well...had to gently remove the old fail. So, I went for a few precision tools to finesse the little fellow out of there. I have cleansed you of this foul demon... The new setup: DDT1510d4 DD C2b Ported box and amp rack.

Saturday, December 19, 2009 - 22:47 GMT I thought the same as Eric, especially since those DD's have a pretty long excursion. I think it's an illusion though, and there is an inch or so of space in front of it.

Saturday, December 19, 2009 - 23:38 GMT There is plenty of space between the surround and the seat, so the sub doesn't come in contact with it. It is actually pretty loud for a 10.

Sunday, December 20, 2009 - 00:25 GMT when the seat is folded down like inthe pic....yea the surround touches. when folded up and locked, it doesnt touch. yes, the port it above the amp. that area it mounts to is part of the box. it is the same piece of wood that makes up the back of the box.

Wednesday, January 13, 2010 - 03:58 GMT Canaan, you are the f@#$ing man. Like for real. No sarcasm, it's really refreshing to see the work of someone who is not only very talented, but also takes such pride in their craft. To describe the difference between the before and after here as night and day, doesn't even do it justice. And doing it in an industry that is FILLED with false information, and con artists... again, I'm blown away. Canaan ftmfw.

Thursday, January 14, 2010 - 00:14 GMT Pit, Thanks man. I may not be the best, but damit I'm gonna do what I can. Seems so many people come in wanting 2-15's and 2000w for $500, lol. I have to design and build for budgets, LOW budgets most the time. So, getting the most out of lower priced equipment is KEY. Infact, I we sell quite a few DD500's, but have only ever sold 2 DD3500's!!! Yea, sad. But what is worse, I can design and build a 750-1000w system that out performs the local places 1500-2000w systems w/ ease. Most guys come in for the pair of 1000w-15's, end up w/ 2 DD512's on 500-600w and couldn't be happier. Sell lower line/price stuff, and still give customers better performance. We have gotten away from the whored out brands like kicker/mtx/alpine/RF and such also. Customers come in looking for those brands, hey I prolly got something used for them on the shelf (that's the beauty of a Pawn/Car Audio shop). Now we carry DD and Arc for speakers/subs/amps...still have some Clarion though, but very little and its old stock. And price/performance, I can't sell anything that touches DD/Arc and make a single dime. Still the little guys, but we offer what can't be found elsewhere locally along with design and service...and I'm dam proud of that. Oh...and....
