I have a 94 Impreza fitted with a Remac alarm (not sure of model), the remote for it has broken. I do have another remote that has the same serial on it as the black box inside the car BUT it does not turn off the alarm, im guessing it needs to be programmed in.
Does anyone know what I can do here to solve this?
Can I somehow program in this other remote whilst the alarm is activated? I've tried taking out the fuse, battery etc. there is NO override switch. The company that makes Remac alarms is out of business and I can't get hold of them.
