I have a 2007 classic chevy 1500 pickup, the stereo has been acting strangly. On hot days it works fine on cold days the only sound I have comes out of the tweeters in my front doors. I changed the factory receiver out and it does the same thing. I went by the stereo shop and they had no idea what it could be. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing and if so could you please help me.
No I'm not running any amp and I was told there is no factory amp in my truck. I am still stumped. I have also lost all of the warning sounds from my truck, like an open door, low on fuel, no seat belt. Do you have any idea what it could be?
Sounds like you have an electrical problem. Look in your area for someone who specializes in Vehicle Electrical Systems and have them look it over. Dealerships don't always know how to fix problems that involve the entire vehicle's electrical, the specialist will know and be able to trace it properly...
