Tuesday, October 27, 2009 - 06:44 GMT I need to buy a re-cone for my 12" Fi Q and had a few questions. First, How difficult is it to re-cone a sub? Second, could i buy the re-cone WITH the BP Power option even though my current one doesn't have it? Could it run with the BP power option with my ed.nine.1 amp or would i need new amp, wiring, or anything?

Tuesday, October 27, 2009 - 18:36 GMT i would only try it myself if i had a spare that was in working condition. otherwise, why screw up a quality woofer when sending it in while most likely yield a better outcome.. just throwin that out there

Tuesday, October 27, 2009 - 19:01 GMT Thanks for the advice. I'll contact Fi and may send it in. Anyone have an idea on the BP power option though?
