New member Username: Ramblin_jackCalne, Wiltshire UK Post Number: 5 Registered: Apr-10 | Unfortunately, the letters in the final box are badly faded (see foto) but it seems that the middle one is a '2'. I don't think the other letters are decipherable, darn it. |
Silver Member Username: Hay88Post Number: 535 Registered: Mar-10 | jack can you post photo so i can look please |
New member Username: Ramblin_jackCalne, Wiltshire UK Post Number: 6 Registered: Apr-10 | Hope you now have foto, sent by e-mail. I have since looked again, with straining eyes, to see what the faded text is; I don't know if I am looking for numeric or alpha but first might be F,N or R, if alpha/ Last might be C,E or 6?? |

New member Username: Ramblin_jackCalne, Wiltshire UK Post Number: 7 Registered: Apr-10 | Hi Reg Rooster - Think there is a confusion - my numbers are as per my original post, but Hay 88 has been kind enough to assist and has attached his foto, to illustrate the label that he wants to see from my radio. I now attach this! (BTW, I have tried codes 4671/7547,5892,8351 - no go!) |

Silver Member Username: Hay88Post Number: 540 Registered: Mar-10 | HI Jack i get code 4671 how to enter is below. Code Entry as Follows: Switch Radio On - Display Shows " CodE " Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit If the correct code number is now shown Press preset " 5 " to Enter if it still not working it may have been recoded. |
New member Username: Ramblin_jackCalne, Wiltshire UK Post Number: 9 Registered: Apr-10 | Unfortunately, 4671 does not work - funnily enough, it is very close to my existing code of 4670, which is what I have to enter, each time the power is turned off/on. To re-state it, I'm looking for a way to 'de-code' the machine, so that it simply turns back on, without wanting a code entry, after power is off/on. |
Silver Member Username: Hay88Post Number: 541 Registered: Mar-10 | jack will it work when you enter 4670. if so have you held button 5 in for ten seconds to store it. |
New member Username: MichaelkoemmPost Number: 1 Registered: Apr-10 | Hi, I'm working on an old Clio-Electric i bought from belgium. During my repairs i want to listen to the radio:-) Maybe during driving then, too... Since i have no original papers for it i dont have a code for it. Installed there is a: PHILIPS 22DC579/62B 9022 215 79621 Product NR: FD 05 96 29 1230590 Renault Germany can't help because its from Belgium. May you help me out? Be sure of my beer;-) Michael |
New member Username: Ramblin_jackCalne, Wiltshire UK Post Number: 10 Registered: Apr-10 | To Hay88 - Yes, everything works when I put code 4670 in and that would be fine, except that it drains the car battery when wired to a permanent-on feed. So I need to wire it to be powered from a feed that is only live when ignition-on only. But when I do this it calls for code entry, as power supply has been interupted. I don't have a wiring diagram for the various wires and have installed it by trial & error. Suppose there might be another feed wire that would somehow work better? Any thoughts on that possibility? |
