Silver Member Username: DangerangerFredericktown, Ohio United States Post Number: 159 Registered: Mar-09 | Ryan, have you thought about putting buckets in and making a counsel box? |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 11 Registered: Oct-09 | the seat part but not the box have any ideas on the seats |
Silver Member Username: DangerangerFredericktown, Ohio United States Post Number: 160 Registered: Mar-09 | http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=70639&id=513356761&l=02708fc10b that's how i set my truck up. Is your seat now a bench or a 60/40 split? |
Platinum Member Username: InsearchofbassYork, Pennsylvania Post Number: 12760 Registered: Jun-04 | if you can afford 299 for a set heres a pair id recommend. Its cdt's high level. They used to cost 799.99. http://www.woofersetc.com/p1118/HD62Z--CDT-Audio-High-Definition-65"-2Way-Component-Speakers.htm |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 12 Registered: Oct-09 | correct on the 60/40 |
Silver Member Username: DangerangerFredericktown, Ohio United States Post Number: 161 Registered: Mar-09 | does the counsel box even interest you? |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 13 Registered: Oct-09 | yeah i just took a look at yours and that was cool |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 14 Registered: Oct-09 | how complicated was the box |
Platinum Member Username: InsearchofbassYork, Pennsylvania Post Number: 12765 Registered: Jun-04 | what do you think of the cdt's i recommended? too expensive? |
Silver Member Username: DangerangerFredericktown, Ohio United States Post Number: 165 Registered: Mar-09 | i just cut my driver seat down to a bucket, and tied the extra upholstery under the seat, I'm assuming yours is setup similar to mine, but it was a thin piece of plastic or real thin metal and i used a reciprocal saw. It wasn't too bad. the hard part was making the box. i think a counsel would be the way to go for you. |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 15 Registered: Oct-09 | the cdts could work anything good 4 less |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 16 Registered: Oct-09 | can you tell the seat was cut does it still sit well i guess thats how u say it |
Silver Member Username: DangerangerFredericktown, Ohio United States Post Number: 166 Registered: Mar-09 | the box took time, but just a lot of test fitting, in the end though it was worth it. Just measure everything twice and make a template from cardboard etc... it helped a lot. |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 17 Registered: Oct-09 | should i discard the dash speakers? |
Platinum Member Username: InsearchofbassYork, Pennsylvania Post Number: 12766 Registered: Jun-04 | the hd's are really worth the extra 50 bucks so if you can afford it go with them....youll thank me. the next set id recommend would be 250 but wouldnt be their top of the line. |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 19 Registered: Oct-09 | cool thanks adam |

Platinum Member Username: InsearchofbassYork, Pennsylvania Post Number: 12768 Registered: Jun-04 | you can use the amp you have until you can afford a new one but ill give you an example of what to get |
Bronze Member Username: RyanchaPost Number: 22 Registered: Oct-09 | adam the only ? i have now is are the subs in sepret chambers? or just 1 the rest i should be able to figure out |
Silver Member Username: DangerangerFredericktown, Ohio United States Post Number: 168 Registered: Mar-09 | The same chamber, if you decide to go this route, i'd look into different subs though. My box is about 1.7 cubes and there was a little room to make it bigger. |

Silver Member Username: DangerangerFredericktown, Ohio United States Post Number: 169 Registered: Mar-09 | nvm i didn't read up there farther, I'd look into 2 tens. That fit rather snug in my truck, idk how much width you'll have between your seats. |
