2 amps or 1??

Spencer Greer New member Username: Sgreer Post Number: 3 Registered: Oct-09	Posted on Sunday, October 18, 2009 - 20:34 GMT Hi. I am going to run 4 infinity kappas and a 12" Kicker. Would it be better to buy one amp for the speakers and one for the sub, or buy one 5 channel amp for everything?

My Kappas are 75w RMS so Im going to get a Alpine MRP-f300 for those. And for my sub which is a 12" Kicker that runs at 400 RMS at 2 ohm I am either getting the Alpine MRP-m500 or a Kicker zx400.1. I am leaning towards the Kicker because it has a bass control remote. What do you think?

It will be ran at 2 ohm. Should i get the zx400.1 (400 x1) or a Alpine mrp-m500 (500 x 1)?

Spencer Greer New member Username: Sgreer Post Number: 8 Registered: Oct-09	Posted on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 - 23:31 GMT well i can get either one for around 150 new. i have another question if you dont mind... if my speakers and sub are both made to be ran at 2 ohm (the speakers and amp dont even have a power rating for 4 ohm), do i have to wire them a certain way or just hook everything up and it will automaticly be running at 2 ohm?
