ive never heard any rd subs in person before. im thinking about replacing my 2 12 orion xtr pros 500 rms each. with 2 rd sonance v2 12s. im waitin on my rd 1000.1 to get here. so thats wat ill be pushin either set of subs with 13xx rms at 1 ohm. i have a box i built for the orions its 3 cu ft ported to 36 hz. will the rds outperform my orions on the same power and same box.i want louder and better sq. can i get some advice and opinions
I have never heard the orion's. But I have 2 RD Sonance v2 15" running on a Treo SSX750.1 ( 1500wrms @ 1ohm) 6cu^ft box tuned to 32 Hz with 120sq^in of port face. Amazing sq out of these bad boys. I have no complaints accept I might need 2 more once my 3250.1 arrives
Yeah I've had that plate for about 4 years now. Gets me a lot of attention lol. Most of my friends just call me boomtank.
zack - your going to like the sonances. i know that for sure. Just dont know how they compare to your current setup. I'm willing to guess the sonances will go deeper then yours now. they distroy the lows.
alright, now ive called rd and got some prices. for 2 brand new 12 sonance v2s they are 294 shipped with 2 year warranty. and for 2 12 sonances rebuilt with alpha spider and soft parts with 1 year warranty, 219 shipped. ive never bought anything used or rebuilt, so im kinda stuck in the middle of new or rebuilt. any input of that?
