And i am looking at getting a lanzar 2 channel amp. http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=VIBE286 says 2x 1000 watts rms at 4 ohm. That means 1000 watts to each channel right? Not 500 to each? And im going to wire them as such so that there is a 4ohm load at the amp. http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_2-o hm_2ch.jpg So if everything is correct my subs should have 1000 watts RMS each. Exactly as the stats say they need. Right? |

Silver Member Username: LeapoldstotchPost Number: 157 Registered: Nov-07 | Ive decided on a 1550 watt clarion monoblok that crutchfield has on sale. got it for 175 shipped. Cheapest on ebay is 300 lol. But now its just a mtter of how many cubes, and what freq. i need to tune it at. I am using RE audio l ported box calculator. The box has to be 39x14x32 w/h/d Subs facing up. And im trying to get the port facing tward the front of the car but it cant be perpendicular to the world. It has to be parallel to achieve 30hz. Im shooting for 30 hz b/c re always goes under by 2 or so hz. Anyone good at box making? |
