Its a great sql sub. My ported idmax12 on 250 rms was louder than 2 12 w3 v2's on 750rms. In both applications, the tuned frequency was 32 hz. For sql, the idmax would get the job done effortlessly. I think ct mike on this forum ran a setup with id max subs also. If you're entirely into sq, i would recommend the idq v3. The Boston Acoustics G5, Jl w6v2, Fi q, Alumapro Alchemy MX and brahma come very close in performance. |
