Finally got it in there.. been putting it off for a while.
Had to buy and modify and new battery tray.. buy a new tie down.. Then just figure out how/where to fit the tray/battery. Made a new starter/batt ground and had to use a bus bar to connect the starter/fuse box hot wires. And of course make a bracket for the fuse holder for the 1/0..
I put a 1800 in the front of my car (stock position was made to hold a battery half the size of this one). I cut out the tray, and also I'm using a tie down strap to hold it in place. Works/looks nice.
few mths ago i fitted a power master D3100 under my hood ...had to shift the batt stand about 3.5" & drill new holes but i got it to fit like it came from the factory that way ...
It was a pain in the azz to fit a 3100 in mine. Had to cut the fender, remove the PCM, remove the battery tray, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I'm still not happy with how close mine is to the radiator hose, and the top post when the hood shuts scares me.
