Monday, August 24, 2009 - 02:55 GMT The mounting surface you attach the woofer(s) to. That surface is susceptible to excessive vibration/weakness of the box. Doubling the thickness helps to eliminate it.

Monday, August 24, 2009 - 04:58 GMT When you build the box you design it so the mounting surface is flush with the frame of the sub. Looks cool as chit. A double baffle helps with the design. ^^^That is not a double baffle but a recessed design.
