Sunday, August 09, 2009 - 09:20 GMT I posted a different thread about type r's vs rf t1's, and i came to the conclusion, it would not be worth changing. my other post i stated i had a pyle(of sh!t) amp lol. well i ended up ordering the new powerbass ASA1500Dx amp from sonic electronix, i heard it was good amp with the new amp, you think 1 hdc3 15 with box 4.5cu @ 38hz, will be louder than my 2 type r 12's?

Sunday, August 09, 2009 - 23:22 GMT the type-r's would probably be louder but it is instal and enclosure dependant... I'de bet that Rovin could make the HDC15 louder than dBLK could make the 2-12" type-R's.... you get what I'm saying.

Sunday, August 09, 2009 - 23:23 GMT ohhh and 33-38 hz would be a good tuning for the HDC15. For a daily setup

Monday, August 10, 2009 - 02:43 GMT Id stay with the type r's. Better lows and better sq spl wise id say the 2 type r's would be just as loud.

Monday, August 10, 2009 - 18:49 GMT I have two of the Alpha v.2 18's. 1- 18" sub has more cone area that 2 12" subs.. And the type -r's combined are not made to handle the power of that 1 sub. If you do the enclosure correctly, It should outpreform the 12's and sound better too. Are you wanting the v.2 or v.3 Alphas?
