alright, my buddy has 2 type r 12's on memphis 1000, and that amp slams the r's, his amp does not even start to get warm even on bass cd's
i also have type r's, but will the mtx JH1200 put out same power, and still stay cool like the memphis? i dont like amps that get hot, but they both have fans, the only thing is bass boost memphis 18db, mtx 12db, whats that mean?
My experience with MTX says that this will put out rated power. I doubt you'll have heating problems. However, your bass boost isn't a necessary feature unless you only want it as loud as possible without sound quality, albeit within a small frequency range. And a better chance of blowing your subs.
