Hifonics bxi-1610d amp good for 2 alpine type r 15"?

If I do get them I'd get the dual 4ohms an wire them down to 1ohms. The amp puts out 1600watts at 1ohms, 1100watts at 2ohms, an 550watts at 4ohms. The sub puts out 750watts so I figured 800watts to each would work good. If you have any suggestions on a different amp please tell me. Thanks!!!

I am sure someone one here will correct me if I am wrong. haha
