Wednesday, July 01, 2009 - 13:41 GMT narrowed it down to 2 setups. Would like to hear yalls opinion.. I can get a crazy deal on 2- 15" RD HW's or 4-15" RD Sonance v.2. Both would be Walled in my Jeep. and powered by my RD5750. Which setup and why? Thanks in advance..

Wednesday, July 01, 2009 - 14:01 GMT Unless you plan on upgrading to two amps and 4 HWs (and the electrical to back it up) I would go with the 4 Sonances. If this is for your daily beater I'd prefer the cone area.

Thursday, July 02, 2009 - 00:55 GMT The four 15" sonance will have more range and sound better but may not have the same brutal impact as the HW. Mark asked what RD setup, i didnt see his ask about idmax, lol

Thursday, July 02, 2009 - 01:03 GMT lol there are other brands besides RD? i have a good friend who was running IDMAXs. on 2 Massive Cheater amps and was doing 52's. and sounded great, but I would have to get my hands on the ID SPL's if I was gonna go that route. I will eventually switch up the RD subs when I get tired of the RD setups, but I still have some unfinished goals that I want to try with the RD. Plus It would be hard to beat some of the deals that I am getting with RD and I am happy with the settups that I've heard, soooo.... besides the "non RD" what would yall do with my OP?

you don't feel the Sonances being slightly over-driven will have the same force to match the 2 HW's being under-driven?

Thursday, July 02, 2009 - 01:31 GMT At half ohm the 5750 will do the job, with the sonance you will be ok but you will need the flat wind coils
