install in mi 2007 dodge charger...got a 1000w autotek sub amp. i have 4 re aud 6x9s and set of re aud tweets. got the 6.5 in kenwood flip/touch indash. pleaz help out wit ur advice, really appreciate ur input.
I own a 2007 Dodge Charger and I am having a new audio system installed today. I am trying to decide between the Kicker CVX 12" subwoofer and the RE Audio SX 12" subwoofer, both subs are 4 ohms.
The Kicker subwoofer is similar to the L7 Solobaric, which I have installed in my Ford Expedition. And in my opinion it's the best subwoofer I have ever owned. I have had it for 3 years and never had a problem, still hits like new.
But I was thinking of going with the Kicker CVX 12" round in my car to get better overall sound quality (Tighter, crisper and cleaner) It is enclosed in a ported box, as is the RE Audio subwoofer.
What is the reputation for the RE Audio SX 12"? Why would it be better in your opinion than the Kicker? It's obvious that it has a louder RMS, but what about sound quality? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks for all of your help. I am so appreciative of your session schooling me in your previous posts. I've officially been served...LOL. j/k FYI: I posted my original question via my Blackberry cell phone if you care to know.
Thank you to all...i would be glad to reciprocate to your posts, too.
i have a RE SE 12", which is basically just a step down from the SX, and its sound quality is amazing, and it gets loud too. i had a kicker cvr, which i would think would somewhat be like the cvx, and it does real good on the higher and mid bass, but doesnt even come close to the RE in the lows. so it depends i guess on what exactly you are looking for
yea round kickers hate lows but they will kill mids and upper. Lows in my opinion are wayyy better than gettin upper freq but i like the jaw rattling bass lol
