Saturday, June 20, 2009 - 03:30 GMT idk if mine blew i turned it on and i heard a loud pop and the bass wont work anymore .. and my sub isnt hot and didnt smell like burnt voice coil ...is it my rca cables ??

Saturday, June 20, 2009 - 03:39 GMT move the cone up and down if it sticks you fried it, when i fried my amp i heard a loud pop so check the amp aswell.

Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 07:57 GMT ^^ that is not a common way to tell.. In fact, I have ran across many blown subs and none ever stuck. the best way is to test coils with dmm visually check tinsel leads, smell motor/coils scratchy feeling when gentely pushing on cone.
