New member Username: 03eclipsePost Number: 3 Registered: Jun-09 | so like the title says i have an 03 Mitsubishi eclipse convertible, the trunk is small only around 15-16" deep and the and at the opening its only around 35" x 15", it gets bigger once you get in the trunk but the mouth/opening is the smallest part. i was thinking of getting 1 10" JL W6 with the HO box or the W7 in the wedge box. i don't think i can get the 10"w7 HO box in the trunk then i'm going to buy this amp (Phoenix Gold XENON X600.1) to match it i think it will be a perfect match cause it has the Xe.load: optimized for any impedance load i can't afford a bigger amp yet but i will upgrade it one day http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=X600.1 i just want something that going to slam even though i have a coverable let me know if the w6 ho is better then a w7 wedge or whatever can you think of any better sups or enclosures i should get instaad of JL all togeather or really thats just a really good way to go. my last set up was 2 RockFord HX2's in a sealed box with a 800w e-series JL audio amp ( the e-1800 amp think it was). i want it to be louder then that was. but i also had a hatch back then. tell me if you think the new set up will be louder - more bass thumping power anyway |

New member Username: 03eclipsePost Number: 6 Registered: Jun-09 | so the car is stock i just got it, i going to put in a double din with dvd and navi, and somthing thats bass friendly for the head unit i will spend around 600, the JL w7 10" in the powerwedge box i found for 500 even and the PG amp i found for 200 even everything new, then i will get it all installed at a local shop and might add a remote bass knob and thats it i want to keep it simple and clean and i want it to be loud enough to set off car alarms and ect... |

New member Username: 03eclipsePost Number: 7 Registered: Jun-09 | and 700 is really the max i want to spend on a sub, box and amp around here i can find a used JL 10" w7 and 500.1 JL amp for around 450, but i think i want to go new so i don't have to worry about it breaking. |
