I didn't catch if you were burping at 70hz or something, but I don't see 160 if that wall is tuned to play music. I sat in a truck with a 4th order blow through on 4 18s and a 16v setup with 4 saz-3000s that was doing 163 or something like that. You're running around 1/4 the power so I would drop that 63 to a 57. You would need 2 more 15s to equal the same cone area, or about 2/3s of what he had. So right there you'd be around a 55. Then figuring he had a 4th order and you have a straight up wall that (no offense) isn't as well built.. I think you will have a lot of trouble getting over 53 without throwing a lot more power in there. |

Gold Member Username: DeadrabitMarionville, MO Post Number: 1832 Registered: Jun-07 | well boys and girls! i got it on a meter that was reading a 150. somthing then drove to the comp ya i played some songs and looked back to see that the duck tape was not doing to great at holding that thing in place and the 6 nails seemed to be a waste of time. haha my hit note was 44hz and i got a 147.2 on the tl. my freinds tried to hold that back baffle in place but it was not going to happen. my amps at 2 ohms were putting out 3500 which was pretty good ! really good actually depending on the amount of time i have by next comp (next friday) it will be tuned higher and my hit note will be in the 60s or maybe 70 not 44. now the box is well over 20cuft its kinda cool like it is now other than the back baffle. u can get some pretty sweet hair tricks the weird thing was that it was louder with the sunroof open... strang no one gets my 5 bucks this time! ps.... i still think ill get 160 |

By the laws that be and in general........ "For every 3db gain expect to double the power." You can expect a few (if any) dbs by tweeking your box and/or tone freq but 13dbs?
