So, im just wondering what i should run for cubes and what tuning i should use for my 12" Type X, i want deep bass but still to sound pretty good, have a alpine mrp-1000 running to it so no lack of power, i don't need blueprints, i can make them myself i just need some suggestions for how many cubes and what tuning? When i had my type X 12s a few years ago my box was 4.6cuft after disp tuned to 33hz and it sounded like the box was a little big. I screwed a few 2x4s in the front corners to take up space and it was much better. Its amazing how a little change can clean up sloppy bass...
yea jake - that was a very nice set back then ...4yrs passed already eh ....looking back at it its port does seem a bit small for 2 subs but i bet that SQL was very good
