Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 15:16 GMT When I installed my subs I looked in many places for a good price on a box. Even considered building one myself. I finally found a place out in Texas that builds AND sells their own (empty) boxes. Cheap factory direct prices. CarAudioFactory.com LOVE MY BOX!!!

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 16:21 GMT that is whatwe call prefab boxes... Barely acceptable for a sealed enclosure, but never acceptable or a ported enclosure. what subs do you run? What is the optimum sealed enclosure volume for your subs? What is the enclosure volume for your new box? is it seperate or common chambered? what thickness and type of wood is the box made from?

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 16:31 GMT looking at the site, I would definitley wouyld avoid buying their ported enclosures.. All single baffled, no tuning freq. listed, just spl box. lol No options available. Enclosure and install is as important if not more important an the equipment you are using. You get what you pay for.

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 17:07 GMT what kind of subs are those? if your happy than I guess that is what counts..., even for a low powered sealed enclosure I would still use 3/4" mdf, with bracing

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - 19:10 GMT Mark is correct but hes running audioburn subs so SQ is out the window right there so the box isn't doing much damage in this case.
