Friday, May 15, 2009 - 19:28 GMT alright i'm looking to buy a good SINGLE subwoofer that will have high amounts of spl and that will run well off of my hifonics bxi2010d (2000rms/4000max). i listen to mostly rap and it's usually slowed so i need something that will hit the LOW notes.. price range up to about 450 or so.. so just please let me know if you guys have any suggestions on what sub i should get

Friday, May 15, 2009 - 19:48 GMT What size? How much space do you have to work with? And Hifonics Brutus series are known to do around %80 of rated power.

Monday, May 18, 2009 - 17:45 GMT The new hifonics amps are suppose to do right around rated power from what I have heard...but I have never seen a bench result so idk. What's your budget? how much space do you have?

Monday, May 18, 2009 - 17:54 GMT Until is see tests showing otherwise i'm assuming they're the same as the older hifonics amps.... which means you're looking at ~1500w from that amp I'd use a base model Fi BTL 18"
